We have a number of school clubs (during lunch times and after school) for our older pupils.
Each Friday, children from class 6 join their teacher Mrs Jones and help to maintain the school gardens. Fun and educational too.

Gardening Club 
Football
ClubWe have a very successful Football Club for both boys and girls, run by Mrs Wright. Alexandra School are regular winners of trophies, and last year won a variety of tournaments.
Chess Club
This is held every Wednesday lunchtime and is run by Mr Craig.
Reading
Club
Some children participate in a Reading Club every Tuesday with Mrs Ames.
| Breakfast
Club We have a Breakfast Club which takes place every morning from 8.00-9.00 am. Children have breakfast and enjoy a range of games and activities. This club is free, as we are kindly funded by The Bakers Oven. Mrs Armstrong is in charge of the Breakfast Club. |

Any parent who feels they can help with extra curricular activities should contact the school. We are always grateful for such offers of help.
