Alexandra's Rainbow Rules
	Seven steps to success: 1. Be polite, kind and helpful to others. 2. Look after your own and other peoples belongings carefully. 3. Listen when others are talking. 4. Aim to have good attendance and arrive at school on time. 5. Do what the school staff ask. 6. Take care of your school and its surroundings. 7. Always aim to do your best.

Our code of conduct is based on the belief that we must always behave well and be caring towards our school and everyone and everything involved in it. CLICK HERE TO SEE OUR CODE OF CONDUCT We also have HOUSE POINTS!!!

This means:

• We must always work hard and try our best, and let others do the same
• We must always be well mannered to everyone in the school, and have respect for their possessions.
• We must respect other's point of view and be prepared to listen and follow instructions carefully.

To ensure these ideas are put into practice we are displaying in every room our rainbow rules which our pupils have helped to formulate. Children who follow the Rainbow Rules will gain stars from their teacher. Once the given number of stars has been achieved a certificate is awarded. There are seven certificates in all (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet) and children gaining all these certificates within the year will be given a special rainbow pen.

At the end of the year there will be a special treat for all those pupils who have gained all their certificates.
